As an intern with WilderWise you have an extraordinary opportunity for a Safari that most tourists would dream of. You are able to go with a Professional Safari Guide into a National Park and walk and track animals such as the rare and elusive Rhino. This is a hands on experience where you get to be involved and put the tracking you learn on the Wilderness Awareness Course to use. You are always safe with the Professional Guide who has had years of guiding Safari's and passing stringent licensing standards.

A normal Safari for a tourist will run US$200 on average, per person per day. We know that as students, you have a tight budget and as with all of our optional activities we work hard to get you the lowest rates possible for being an intern in our program. This Safari runs US$85 per day per person (normally a 3 day trip). It includes all of your transport (via land rover), your food and drinks, and accommodation. This is a chance to see animals up close and to have a Safari experience of a lifetime.

The cost does not include national parks fees, which range depending on the park but are normally in the range of US$35-60 for the three days. The guides are all very good and make sure the safari is fun, not too strenuous and that you enjoy yourself. For most students this is their big splurge.
