The WilderWise Intern program invites people from all different backgrounds to participate in an International Internship Program that will be an experience of a lifetime. There are opportunities for people that have a specific field of study they would like to pursue, and there are opportunities for people that just want to volunteer their time to help others, and promote conservation. Internships are available at various degrees of specialization, from graduate students that need thesis research, doctorate students that need practical experience, undergrad students looking to do something that will set them above others for graduate school and the working world, or volunteers that have their time and experience to give to others. We need all types of people.
The WilderWise Intern program is multi-faceted in that you will achieve your goals for research or experience, but you will also have fun and learn. The program includes a mandatory Wilderness Awareness course, safari options, adrenaline activities, social gatherings, opportunities to meet specialists in respected fields, and anti-poaching awareness. You will meet other interns from around the world, with different backgrounds and find friends that will last you a lifetime.
